ABOUT STARTUP EUROPE LATIN AMERICA. – Startup Europe Latin America aims at connecting a new breed of entrepreneurs and high-growth new ventures (startups), their funders namely venture capital funds, angel investors or crowdfunders, and specific ecosystem intermediaries to make EU-LATAM cooperation more effective while ensuring sustainable economic, social and environmental development.

The goal of Startup Europe LATAM Assembly is to build effective bridges of collaboration between both sides of the pond, developing mutual symbiosis and boosting synergies through interaction amongst key players in both ecosystems, Startups, Scaleups, Investors, Corporates, Accelerators, Incubators, Universities and Research Centres, Public Administrations, Media Outlets, Heads of State and Government and Ambassadors.

International Digital Development Exposition 2017, 2nd Edition — “Technologies for improving our quality of life”.

After the successful first edition of the International Digital Development Exposition in 2016 (#EIDD16), the Chilean government and local technology companies have strengthened an alliance that will bring about the second version of this event, which will take place on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th of October 2017, at the Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho in Santiago.

Our goal is to double last year’s 4000 visitors and explore the main solutions proposed by more than 30 government agencies for better quality public services, along with more than 100 national and international exhibitors that have developed new public service technologies designed to improve the quality of people’s lives.

Emprende is a TV show broadcasted twice a week in TVE’s Canal 24 Horas about entrepreneurship support and promotion.

IESE Business Angel Network is a support service to entrepreneurs and investors aimed at facilitating access to start and scale finance, being one if the most active where it operates. Active since 2003 its portfolio has reached more than 160 startups, and real success stories such as Privalia, Buyvip, Habitissimo or Olapic. IESE BAN contributes to IESE Business School»s commitment to entrepreneurship ecosystem development, startup growth and professionalisation of the angel activity.

IESE BAN is open to alumni and non alumni entrepreneurs and investors, and these take individual investment decisions, as IESE does not take investment decisions.

We are a Not-for-profit European foundation, comprising 35 private companies and public entities in technology, agri-food, catering and financial sectors.

We have set up an open innovation ecosystem called «SmartAgrifood». SmartAgrifood contains a demonstration center; for the development and transfer of proof of concept products, a startup accelerator; for the agrifood sector, and an investment fund which in turn feeds 4 funds specialising in startups.

Startup Olé Accelerator (SOA)

Startup Olé Accelerator (SOA) has become a landmark in the European entrepreneurial ecosystem thanks to its broad experience in organizing major international tech events such as Startup Olé and by coordinating and actively participating in successful EU-funded projects (Welcome SEP).
